UPDATE: I re-mixed the track, cleaned up a few things sonically and messed with a few new amp sims, think it's much cleaner than the version I posted yesterday.

I left my charger for my laptop at work on Friday so I had to record this one quick before the battery ran out. Luckily I had already mapped out a little post rock diddy well enough I could get it down in a hurry. Hurry meaning, five or six hours. Unfortunately the battery started dying so I didn't get to record the whole piece as I wanted to so it's a bit more compact with fewer guitar parts and none of the electronic bass or effects I wanted to add. It's kinda of nice in its simplicity though. Hopefully when my office reopens tomorrow I'll be able to snag my charger and tweak this one.

This is probably the most third wave post rock song I've written. I wanted to experiment with my acoustic guitar a little try and have a nice album leafy sound melt into more traditional Explosions in the Sky type vibe. There was no time for me to make the melting happen so it just transitions. Anyway, I ultimately wanted this to be relaxing. Is it?
